Privacy Policy.
How we collect, use and protect your data. Last updated: June 2026.
Adali ("we", "us") is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this policy. We take privacy seriously and process all information in accordance with the GDPR and Norwegian data protection law.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following personal data when you contact us or use the website:
- Name and company name
- Email address and phone number
- Information about the project you describe
2. How we use the information
Personal data is used solely for the following purposes:
- To respond to your inquiries and requests
- To deliver services you have ordered
- To improve the website and user experience
- To comply with legal requirements (accounting and bookkeeping)
We do not send marketing without your consent, and we never sell your data to third parties.
3. Cookies
The website uses necessary cookies required for the site to function — for example, they store your language preference and the fact that you have read the cookie notice.
We also use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used — for example, the number of visitors and which pages they view. Google Analytics sets analytics cookies. The information is used only in aggregated, anonymised form to improve the website, and is not used for marketing.
You can delete or block cookies in your browser at any time.
4. Third parties
The contact form is sent to our own server — not to a third party. In addition, we use the following external services that may receive limited data:
- UniWeb (one.com) — web host and mail server; the website runs here, and enquiries are stored in our database
- Google (Gmail) — email to and from kontakt@adali.no
- Google (Gemini AI) — automatically sorts incoming email and drafts suggested replies. Drafts are never sent automatically — a human always reads and approves before any reply goes out
- Google Analytics — provides us with anonymised statistics about website usage
- Google Fonts — delivers typography to the website
- ntfy.sh — sends a push notification to our phone when a new enquiry arrives
All third parties are GDPR-compliant.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Access — you can request a copy of all data we hold about you
- Rectification — you can request that inaccurate data be corrected
- Erasure — you can request that your data be deleted
- Restriction — you can request that processing be restricted
- Data portability — you can request your data in a structured format
- Objection — you can object to processing
To exercise these rights, please contact us by email.
6. Retention period
We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, or as long as the law requires (typically 5 years for accounting data).
7. Security
We have implemented technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including SSL encryption across the entire website and restricted access to customer databases.
8. Changes to this policy
This privacy policy may be updated as needed. Material changes will be communicated clearly on this page.
9. Contact
Do you have questions about this policy or how we process your personal data?
Email us at kontakt@adali.no, or use the contact form.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (datatilsynet.no) if you believe we are processing your personal data unlawfully.
